The Agency Power Can-Am Maverick X3 Big Brake Kit Front and Rear (Blue) is a high-performance brake system designed specifically for the Can-Am Maverick X3. Manufactured in the USA in collaboration with a leading performance brake manufacturer, this brake kit is the result of nearly yearlong testing and research to ensure optimal braking performance for your off-road vehicle.
The calipers in this kit feature a 2 piece construction with built-in "ears" for mounting to the wheel carrier. This design eliminates the need for additional brackets and spacers, providing an extremely rigid advantage. Each caliper half is assembled using 4 10mm cross bolts for maximum stiffness, eliminating caliper flex and potential pad knock back.
Internally, the caliper is well-designed with custom machined piston sizing, providing an overall surface area comparable to many 6 piston vehicle brakes. This design ensures a perfect squat under hard braking, allowing for better vehicle control compared to an unbalanced nose dive.
The hard anodized aluminum pistons are extremely lightweight, allowing for ease of movement and enhanced clamping force on the rotor. Dust and weather seals ensure durability even in harsh off-road conditions.
The brake pads chosen for this kit provide optimal performance and balance for the majority of users. The front caliper uses a Hawk HP+ N-Compound while the rear uses a DR1-C ceramic brake pad. Once bed-in properly, these pads will provide amazing performance without excess squeaking noise.
The 2 piece cast iron vented rotors in this kit dissipate heat much better than the factory-style steel rotors found in most vehicles. Each rotor is vented, slotted, and cross-drilled, allowing for improved cooling as they spin. The larger diameter of these rotors increases torque and leverage, resulting in better braking performance.
The Agency Power Big Brake Kit is a 4 wheel brake system designed to be used with 15-inch wheels. It is available in various color options and includes a 1-year manufacturer warranty against defects. Additionally, replacement and consumable parts are readily available.
