The Agency Power Can-Am Maverick X3 Big Brake Kit Front and Rear (Monster Green) is a high-performance braking system designed specifically for the Can-Am Maverick X3. Manufactured in the USA in collaboration with a leading performance brake manufacturer, this brake kit has undergone extensive testing and development to ensure superior braking performance.
Unlike typical automotive brake designs, the Agency Power calipers feature a unique 2-piece construction with built-in "ears" for easy mounting to the wheel carrier. The calipers are exceptionally rigid, thanks to their assembly using 4 10mm cross bolts, which eliminates flex and potential pad knock back under hard pedal pressure. Additionally, the calipers have custom machined piston sizing that provides an overall surface area comparable to many 6-piston vehicle brakes, resulting in improved braking performance.
The Agency Power Big Brake Kit utilizes a 2-piece cast iron brake rotor, which offers better heat dissipation compared to the factory-style steel rotors. Each rotor is vented, slotted, and cross-drilled for enhanced cooling and larger diameter, increasing torque and leverage for superior braking power. The rotors are also directional, acting as a pump to cool the brake while spinning.
The brake pads included in the kit are carefully selected to provide optimal performance and balance for the front and rear. The front caliper uses a Hawk HP+ N-Compound, while the rear uses a DR1-C ceramic brake pad. These pads offer excellent performance once properly bedded-in and minimize squeaking noise.
The Agency Power Big Brake Kit is a 4-wheel brake system designed to fit 15-inch wheels. It is available in a translucent Monster Green powder-coated finish and features a CNC machined Agency Power logo. The kit includes front and rear 4-piston calipers, front and rear directional 2-piece rotors, performance brake pads, banjo bolts, and additional hardware. It offers a complete bolt-on installation with no additional modifications or parts required.
Please note that the brake kit does not fit stock 14-inch wheels and comes with a 1-year manufacturer warranty against defects. Replacement and consumable parts are readily available. However, it is important to consider that this product contains chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer and reproductive harm.
