Best Turbo R Accessories by Category

The Turbo R is now in its fifth model year (2022-2026) and the aftermarket catalog has matured into clear category leaders. Here’s the tier breakdown across the 11 categories where buyers spend the most. Tap any category to jump to its picks — each section ends with a pre-filtered link to every fitment we carry for the Turbo R in that category.

Bumpers

First mod. Front bumper protects the radiator and grille from rock strikes; rear bumper adds tow-loop strength plus departure-angle protection. DRT owns this category on volume and margin because they design chassis-specific (no universal-fit compromise) and the welds hold up under repeat impacts.

Exhaust

Intake & Tuning

The Turbo R is a forced-induction motor and that means the airflow upgrades have a defined sequence: BOV first, charge tubes next, full intake + BOV kit as the all-in-one, and a Trinity Powervision reflash to actually convert that airflow into horsepower. Get the order wrong and you leave 20+ hp on the table.

Suspension & Chassis

The Turbo R rolls factory with FOX 3.0 Live Valve X2 Internal Bypass shocks at all four corners — the shocks are not the first suspension upgrade. Stress-point reinforcement is. Shock forks and radius rod plates fix the parts of the OEM chassis that fail under hard riding before any aftermarket shock makes sense.

Build the Turbo R in this order.

RZR Forums has been telling Turbo R owners the same thing for four years and they’re right. Protect the chassis first, fix what wears out next, talk to your group third, then chase horsepower. This is the order we ship parts to repeat customers building from scratch.

01

Protection

Bumper, fender flares, rock sliders, intake vent covers, splash guards. The Turbo R’s 27″ front travel writes checks the OEM plastic body work can’t cash — rocks find paint within the first 50 trail miles.

Start here. A grille-protecting bumper alone has saved more radiators than any other single mod.

02

Comfort & Visibility

Doors, windshield, rear window, mirrors, harnesses. Dust management on a 74″ sport car is non-negotiable. Stock seatbelts are not made for hard riding — 4-point harnesses are a same-day upgrade.

Front glass without a rear window is a dust pump. Always pair the two.

03

Communication

GMRS radio + helmet intercom. Group rides on the Turbo R routinely hit 60+ mph in dust. A plug-and-play comm kit is the difference between staying with your group and getting lost.

Rugged Radios’ Pro XP / Turbo R / Pro R kit is the editor’s standard because it fits the factory dash with zero fab work.

04

Power & Sound

BOV first, charge tubes next, then electronic dump exhaust, then a Trinity Powervision reflash. Going out of order leaves money on the table — tune AFTER airflow upgrades, not before.

Stage in this order. Skipping the intake before tuning leaves +20 hp on the table.

Polaris RZR Turbo R: Common Questions

How much horsepower does the Polaris RZR Turbo R have?

The 2024-2026 Polaris RZR Turbo R is rated at 181 hp from the Polaris ProStar turbocharged 4-stroke triple. That number is straight from polaris.com and represents peak crank power within the 20-50 mph operating range. Wheel horsepower with the stock tune typically reads slightly lower on dyno but is in the same neighborhood. Aftermarket intake + tune packages from RPM and Trinity can add another 25-40 hp depending on fuel grade and altitude.

What is the difference between the RZR Pro R and the Turbo R?

Two different motor families. The Pro R runs a naturally aspirated 2.0L 4-cylinder rated at 225 hp; the Turbo R runs a turbocharged 925cc triple rated at 181 hp. Pro R has more peak power but a heavier curb weight; Turbo R is lighter, faster-responding, and more efficient. Suspension is similar between the two (FOX 3.0 Live Valve X2 on both). Wheel bolt patterns differ — Pro R is 5x114.3, Turbo R is the Polaris-standard 4x156. Many aftermarket parts cross-fit (bumpers, doors, windshields, audio) but check fitment in the product listing before purchasing.

Are Turbo R accessories interchangeable with the Pro XP?

Many are, especially in body and chassis categories. The Pro XP, Turbo R, and Pro R share the same external cab dimensions, wheelbase, and many cab pickup points — which is why aftermarket part listings often show all three platforms in the product name. Audio systems (Rockford Stage 5), windshields (UTVZilla Pro XP / Turbo R glass), doors (UTVZilla 2-seat), bumpers (DRT Pro R / Turbo R), and comm kits (Rugged Pro XP / Turbo R / Pro R) all cross-fit. Exhaust, intake, and tuning hardware that involves the engine bay can also cross between Turbo R and Pro XP because both share the same turbocharged triple architecture.

What is the suspension travel on the Turbo R?

27 inches usable in front and 28 inches usable in the rear, per Polaris’ published specs. Both ends run FOX 3.0 Live Valve X2 Internal Bypass shocks with electronically-adjustable compression damping. Wheelbase is 96 inches and overall width is 74 inches. The Live Valve system means aftermarket shocks are not the canonical first suspension upgrade — reinforcing the chassis pickup points (radius rod plates, shock forks) gives better return on hard-riding builds.

What CVT belt does the Turbo R use?

The Turbo R shares its CVT (Pro S CVT family) with the 2025+ RZR Pro S. EVO Powersports and SuperATV both offer aftermarket aramid-cord drive belts that fit the Pro XP / Turbo R / Pro S clutch generation. Stock belt life depends heavily on tune state, tire size, and elevation — expect 1,000-2,500 trail miles before replacement on a stock setup, less if tuned and running 32″+ tires. Always carry a spare belt and the BOXO belt change tool kit (Savage UTV) when riding hard.

What is the best first mod to do on a Turbo R?

A grille-protecting front winch bumper. The DRT Pro R / Turbo R front winch bumper protects the radiator and grille from rock strikes, adds a winch tray, and is the canonical first day-one mod. After that: doors + windshield (dust management), 4-point harnesses (safety), then communication (group rides), then performance (BOV → intake → tune → exhaust in that order).

Does the Turbo R bolt pattern fit Pro XP wheels?

Yes. Both the Turbo R and Pro XP run the Polaris-standard 4x156 bolt pattern with M12x1.5 lug nuts. The 5x114.3 outlier pattern that some new buyers worry about is on the Pro R / Pro S, not the Turbo R. If a wheel says “fits Pro XP” it almost certainly fits the Turbo R as well. Always cross-check the listed hub bore (96mm Polaris) and the wheel offset against your build before ordering.

Do I need a USFS spark arrestor in my Turbo R exhaust?

If you ride on US Forest Service land, BLM lands, or California State OHV Parks during fire season, yes — 36 CFR 261.52(j) and California PRC 4442 both require a USFS-approved spark arrestor in working condition. The RPM E-Valve and Sport Muffler options on this page are cat-bypass / catless designs intended for off-road and closed-course use; they don’t carry USFS approval. Trinity Racing makes a USFS-approved full system option if regulated-land compliance is required. Always check current local OHV regulations before riding.

Will aftermarket exhaust void my Polaris warranty?

The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act (federal law) prevents a manufacturer from voiding the entire warranty just because you installed an aftermarket part. However, the dealer CAN deny warranty coverage on a specific failure if they can document that the aftermarket part directly caused that failure. Practical answer: an exhaust upgrade typically won’t affect non-engine warranty claims (suspension, electrical, doors). Engine claims become a gray area depending on the failure mode — consult your dealer before stacking intake + tune + exhaust on a warrantied machine.

How do I find Turbo R parts that fit my specific model year?

Use the pre-filtered vehicle URL at the bottom of each category section above — each one lands on a filtered view of every Turbo R-fitting product in that category. Or jump straight to the Pro S / Turbo R vehicle hub for the full catalog. The Turbo R has been in production from 2022 through current model year; most aftermarket parts cover the full 2022+ range, but a handful of 2022-2024-specific parts (like the original DRT fender kit) may not fit the very latest models. Always verify the year range in the product listing before ordering.
