Polaris Expands the RANGER Lineup With Two New Factory Cab Models

Polaris continues to lean into real-world utility with the introduction of two new factory-enclosed RANGER options. The 2026 RANGER 1000 CAB and the 2027 RANGER XP 1000 CAB are built for riders who need protection from weather without stepping away from the proven RANGER platform. Both models arrive with factory-installed cabs, climate control options, and work-ready features that make sense for year-round use.

These are not limited trims or special editions. They are purpose-built machines aimed at landowners, jobsite crews, hunters, and riders who depend on their UTV in all seasons.

2026 Polaris RANGER 1000 CAB

Practical Enclosure With Built-In Heat

The RANGER 1000 CAB takes the familiar RANGER 1000 Premium foundation and adds what many riders have been asking for from the factory. A fully enclosed cab and integrated heating system come standard, removing the guesswork that often comes with aftermarket cab setups.

A fixed glass windshield and sealed cab structure help block wind, rain, snow, and dust. When temperatures drop, the factory heater keeps the cab comfortable during early mornings, winter chores, or long days pushing snow.

Power comes from the 61-horsepower ProStar engine, tuned for smooth and quiet operation. The machine keeps the same class-leading 1,000-pound cargo box rating and 2,500-pound towing capacity, making it a strong option for property maintenance, hauling supplies, or trailering equipment.

Additional factory equipment adds to the value. A 4,500-pound winch with synthetic rope and wireless remote is included, along with a full-coverage front bumper and LED headlights for low-light work.

The RANGER 1000 CAB is offered in a three-seat configuration and arrives with multiple color options, including camo. It is positioned as a straightforward, work-focused cabbed machine that emphasizes reliability and comfort without unnecessary complexity.

2027 Polaris RANGER XP 1000 CAB

Full Climate Control for All-Season Use

The RANGER XP 1000 CAB builds on the same concept but pushes further into premium territory. Available in both three-seat and CREW configurations, this model adds factory air conditioning alongside heating, creating a true four-season UTV.

The enclosed cab features a fixed glass windshield and powered front windows, giving riders better control over airflow and visibility in changing conditions. The climate system uses a variable AC compressor that delivers strong cooling even at idle, which matters during summer work or slow-speed trail use.

Power steps up to an 82-horsepower ProStar engine paired with a three-position throttle control. This allows drivers to tailor throttle response for different tasks, whether creeping through technical terrain or covering ground with a loaded bed.

Noise and ride quality were also considered. The XP 1000 CAB rides on 29-inch Pro Armor X Terrain tires with a variable tread pattern designed to reduce perceived noise inside the cab while still providing puncture resistance and traction. With 14 inches of ground clearance, the machine maintains the capability expected from the XP platform.

Like the RANGER 1000 CAB, the XP version retains the same 1,000-pound box and 2,500-pound towing ratings, keeping it squarely in the work-ready category.

Choosing Between the Two

Both machines focus on comfort, protection, and capability, but they serve slightly different needs.

The RANGER 1000 CAB is a strong fit for riders who want a factory enclosure with heat, dependable power, and jobsite features at a more accessible price point. It checks the boxes for cold-weather use, plowing, property management, and seasonal riding.

The RANGER XP 1000 CAB is aimed at those who spend long days in the seat across a wide range of temperatures. Air conditioning, increased power, adjustable throttle response, and CREW availability make it better suited for larger properties, crews, or riders who expect premium comfort year-round.
