Description

Moose Offroad Polaris Ranger 800 / Crew 800 / 500 / Crew 500 / 400 (2010-2014) Differential Pinon Cover

Moose Offroad Polaris Ranger 800 / Crew 800 / 500 / Crew 500 / 400 (2010–2014) Differential Pinion Cover is a billet aluminum front differential cover that replaces the stock pinion housing on these Ranger‑family models. It’s designed to protect the front‑end gearing and pinion while providing a stronger, more serviceable front‑end than the OEM cover, with better sealing and easier access for bearing and seal replacement.

This Moose Offroad cover fits the front differential of Polaris Ranger 800, Ranger Crew 800, Ranger 500, Ranger Crew 500, and Ranger 400 produced from 2010 through 2014. It’s a direct‑bolt replacement for the stock pinion cover, so no carrier or gear changes are required, and it follows the same yoke pattern and spline as the original so driveline behavior and 4x4 engagement stay unchanged.

Features

  • Billet aluminum front differential / pinion cover for Ranger 400/500/800 and Crew‑series from 2010–2014.
  • Thicker, more rigid construction than stock to better support the pinion and reduce flex under load.
  • Machined to accept OEM‑style bearings and seals, often sold as an assembly with new seals and bearings pre‑installed for easier servicing.
  • Improved sealing design to reduce oil leaks and keep contaminants out of the front differential.
  • Direct bolt‑on fitment using the same mounting points and yoke pattern as the stock Ranger front‑end cover.

Moose Offroad (About)

Our story starts in the mid 1980’s in the shadow of the Rocky Mountains. The question in those days was how to prepare for an ever changing ride but for a core group of offroad riders it was a question of how, and out of their passion came a small offering of hard parts that would put Moose Offroad on the map. What they didn’t know was their desire to make the ride unforgettable would turn into a worldwide force of the finest collection of parts and gear for them and their machine.

In the early 1990’s, visionary Wayne Cornelius came along with distribution giant Parts Unlimited. Wayne knew Moose Offroad was good but he had a desire to make it great. His method to reach that goal was to consult the services of 8-time National Enduro Champion Dick Burleson. Utilizing Burleson’s experience the goal was to design gear that was comfortable to ride in all day rather than a 20 minute moto. That concept was launched in 1994 at the ISDE in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where a team of World-class riders emblazoned in new gear they served notice that Moose Racing has arrived on the scene.

As the 90’s continued, Moose Racing became the go to for hard parts but gear was the avenue to get brand recognition as it performed better than anything else in the market. This strategy blanketed races from the deserts in the west to the steamy woods of the GNCC with Moose Racing gear. It hasn’t been all offroad however, Moose Racing has been a staple of motocross as well. Moose Offroad is proud of its support for racers and riders at all levels from the bright lights of Supercross to the 8am races in the GNCC. Today, Moose Offroad continues the vision and strives to stay ahead of the pack, thirty plus years of blood, sweat, and gears has only made us more passionate to push on and keep evolving.
