Description

Moose Offroad Polaris Ranger/RZR | Can-Am Defender/Maverick/Commander Rack Replacement Boot Kit

Keep your steering rack operating at peak performance with the Moose Offroad Rack Replacement Boot Kit. Designed for the most popular names in the industry, including the Polaris Ranger, Polaris RZR, Can-Am Defender, Maverick, and Commander, this kit is the ultimate defense against the elements. A torn boot is the leading cause of expensive steering rack failures, as it allows mud, sand, and water to grind down your internal gears. This heavy-duty replacement provides a resilient barrier, ensuring your steering remains smooth and protected through the deepest bogs and the dustiest trails.

Features

  • High-grade neoprene rubber offers superior flexibility and resistance to tearing under pressure.
  • Ozone-resistant material construction prevents the rubber from cracking or drying out over time.
  • Airtight and watertight seal prevents abrasive grit and moisture from entering the rack.
  • Heavy-duty stainless steel clamps ensure a secure, permanent fit on the housing.
  • Universal fitment design is compatible with a wide range of Polaris and Can-Am models.
  • Specifically engineered thickness provides maximum protection against sharp trail debris and sticks.
  • Maintains internal grease integrity by keeping lubrication in and harmful contaminants out.
  • Cost-effective maintenance solution prevents the need for an entire steering rack replacement.

Moose Offroad (About)

Our story starts in the mid 1980’s in the shadow of the Rocky Mountains. The question in those days was how to prepare for an ever changing ride but for a core group of offroad riders it was a question of how, and out of their passion came a small offering of hard parts that would put Moose Offroad on the map. What they didn’t know was their desire to make the ride unforgettable would turn into a worldwide force of the finest collection of parts and gear for them and their machine.

In the early 1990’s, visionary Wayne Cornelius came along with distribution giant Parts Unlimited. Wayne knew Moose Offroad was good but he had a desire to make it great. His method to reach that goal was to consult the services of 8-time National Enduro Champion Dick Burleson. Utilizing Burleson’s experience the goal was to design gear that was comfortable to ride in all day rather than a 20 minute moto. That concept was launched in 1994 at the ISDE in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where a team of World-class riders emblazoned in new gear they served notice that Moose Racing has arrived on the scene.

As the 90’s continued, Moose Racing became the go to for hard parts but gear was the avenue to get brand recognition as it performed better than anything else in the market. This strategy blanketed races from the deserts in the west to the steamy woods of the GNCC with Moose Racing gear. It hasn’t been all offroad however, Moose Racing has been a staple of motocross as well. Moose Offroad is proud of its support for racers and riders at all levels from the bright lights of Supercross to the 8am races in the GNCC. Today, Moose Offroad continues the vision and strives to stay ahead of the pack, thirty plus years of blood, sweat, and gears has only made us more passionate to push on and keep evolving.
