Rick's Bio
Hey guys, my name is Rick DeWeese and some of you may know me as @DuneWhore on Instagram. I'm one of the owners here at UTVSource.com. I've been into vehicles ever since I was able to drive. I have a background in fabrication and welding, and I have built some really high-end prerunners and award-winning cars in the past.
I developed a passion for off-roading at a young age, and what really sparked my passion was after building my first prerunner truck which was nicknamed the "BugattiMax"; a Chevy Duramax diesel truck with off-road suspension. I started posting about it on Instagram and quickly gained a following of people who loved seeing the best products and companies come together on one project.
My wife and I have owned a few sand cars, and they were great for back then, but after building a Polaris RZR XP 1000 to match my BugattiMax prerunner, I fell in love with side-by-sides. The cost-to-fun ratio is higher than any other off-road vehicle anywhere.
