Design and Mounting Position

Construction and Protection
The mount uses a powder coated, CNC cut aluminum top with stainless steel hardware for a durable and corrosion-resistant setup. Open side construction is intended to dissipate radiant heat generated by the dish and help the system stay cooler while operating when the vehicle is not in motion.
A hail guard is integrated on top of the mount to help protect the dish from hailstorms and other objects striking the exposed upper surface. The mount also uses double-layer weatherproof UV rated gaskets to help block moisture and debris from entering the truck.
Installation Details
Installation does not require drilling or cutting. The mount is installed by removing the third brake light, placing the bracket, and reinstalling the light.
The UV rated gaskets include a separation that allows installation without disconnecting existing wires or cables. This design helps streamline the install process while maintaining a sealed fit around the third brake light area.
Vibration Damping and Stability
The mount includes vibration damping feet designed to reduce road vibration from being transferred into the Starlink system. This added support helps improve stability during vehicle use and may help reduce stress on the mounted equipment over rougher surfaces.
Wiring Options
Power wires can be routed through the third brake light to an interior truck power source for a more permanent installation. Wiring - Power wires can either be run through the third brake light to a power source in the interior of the truck for permanent use. You can also add a window pass through to your cart, which will pass wires through the rear slider (or passenger window) to a power source. Better for temporary use or a quick wiring solution.
