Description

Suspension Direct - SDi Polaris Xpedition E-LINK Dynamic Sway Bar System (Front and Rear)

The Suspension Direct SDi Polaris Xpedition E-LINK Dynamic Sway Bar System is designed to bring intelligent sway bar control to Polaris Xpedition models by automatically adjusting between stability and articulation based on terrain and driving conditions.

Rather than requiring the driver to choose between a connected or disconnected sway bar, the E-LINK system automatically manages sway bar engagement through integration with the SDI E-CLIK system. This allows the vehicle to transition between improved control on faster terrain and greater suspension freedom on rough or technical sections.

E-LINK is engineered to improve stability during cornering and higher-speed driving while also allowing increased suspension movement and ride comfort when terrain demands more articulation. The system can automatically unlock the sway bar for improved suspension performance and then lock it again when driving conditions call for greater control and confidence.

The system also includes manual lock and unlock functionality through the E-CLIK touch screen, giving drivers direct in-cab control when desired. Built specifically for Polaris Xpedition models, E-LINK is designed to eliminate manual disconnect decisions while automatically adapting to changing terrain conditions.

Features

  • Dynamic Sway Bar Control: Automatically adjusts sway bar engagement based on terrain and driving conditions.
  • Automatic Lock and Unlock Function: Manages sway bar behavior through SDI E-CLIK integration.
  • Improved Stability: Helps reduce body roll during cornering and higher-speed driving.
  • Increased Articulation: Allows greater suspension movement on rough and technical terrain.
  • Manual Override Capability: Lock and unlock functions are available through the E-CLIK touch screen.
  • Terrain-Adaptive Performance: Automatically responds to changing conditions while driving.
  • Vehicle-Specific Fitment: Designed specifically for Polaris Xpedition models.

Design and Operation

The E-LINK system works in conjunction with the SDI E-CLIK system to dynamically manage sway bar engagement based on terrain and vehicle behavior. During rough or technical conditions, the system can unlock the sway bar to allow greater suspension articulation and improved ride quality. When speed, steering input, or terrain conditions require additional control, the system locks the sway bar to improve stability and reduce body roll.

This automatic functionality is designed to remove the need for the driver to manually decide when to disconnect or reconnect the sway bar. For drivers who want direct control, manual lock and unlock functions are available through the E-CLIK touch screen from inside the cab.

Functionality and Performance

This system is intended to improve both ride quality and handling by automatically balancing articulation and stability. On technical terrain, unlocking the sway bar allows the suspension to move more freely for improved comfort and traction. In faster driving conditions or during cornering, automatic sway bar engagement supports a more planted and controlled vehicle feel.

The result is a more adaptable suspension system that responds in real time to changing terrain without requiring manual intervention. This makes the E-LINK system especially well-suited for riders who transition between trail riding, rough terrain, and higher-speed driving in the same trip.

Installation Details

The SDi E-LINK Dynamic Sway Bar System is designed for Polaris Xpedition applications and requires integration with the SDI E-CLIK system for full functionality. Customers adding E-LINK to an existing E-CLIK setup must select the update option and send in the touch screen, ECU, and main harness connected to the ECU for updating.

Why It Stands Out

The E-LINK system stands out by eliminating the compromise between sway bar stability and off-road articulation. Instead of requiring manual disconnects, it automatically manages sway bar operation to suit terrain and driving conditions in real time. Combined with manual in-cab control through E-CLIK, it offers a more advanced and adaptable suspension solution for Polaris Xpedition owners.
