Constructed using a larger shaft diameter made from high tensile strength hardened steel coupled with maximum size CNC machined internal CV joint components for maximum swing angles. The CV joints are equipped with stainless steel bands fitted to a Thermoplastic Polyester Ether Elastomer (TPEE) CV boots that offer long lasting, high strength, cut and tear resistant characteristics. The grease used in the CV joints have superb water erosion resistance, anti-rust, anti-hardening to prevent the loss of CV joint lubrication in harsh working environments for longer periods of time. Rocky Mountain ATV/MC came from humble beginnings. Founder and CEO, Dan Thomas, created the company after seeing a need for ATV wheels and tires back in 1985. Dan was a proficient off-road racer and could often be found at desert race events along with his family on weekends throughout his teenage years.
Throughout the years, he has grown the company by creating a powerhouse team around him to handle different aspects of the business. Many of these team members have been here for years nurturing and developing their departments to meet the demands of growth. That same team is what helped the company transfer to a 100% employee-owned business (ESOP) in 2021. Now, each employee shares in the success and growth of the company as an owner.
