The ATS (Auto Turn Signal) system is a modular plug and play design specifically made for the Kawasaki KRX 1000, both 2- and 4-seat models. It consists of a small solid-state control box that performs its functions seamlessly. Unlike the previous generation's control box, the ATS is compact and efficient.
So how does it work? When you activate the turn signal rocker switch, the ATS will activate the blinker for a short duration and then self-cancel. This is incredibly useful for simple lane changes. For longer turns, you can press the rocker switch for an extended duration to activate the blinkers. You can also manually cancel the turn signal by pushing the actuator a second time—especially handy when completing an XTC Street Legal Kit.
In addition to the self-canceling turn signals, the ATS system also includes a 'Hazard/Horn' rocker switch. This allows you to easily turn on and off the hazard lights, making your vehicle more visible in emergency situations. The included street-legal FIAMM horn is a great addition for added safety and is essential for full XTC Street Legal Kit compliance.
Installation is a breeze with the ATS Kawasaki KRX 1000 turn signal kit. No wires need to be cut and no crimping is required. Simply unplug the rear light harness and plug in the ATS system. The brake light signal passes through the ATS, so your opposing brake light will still function normally while the activated turn signal brake light flashes.
To make it even more versatile, the ATS kit includes an auxiliary power out for a license plate light or whip lights.
