The shock tower brace serves as the main mounting point for the Front Suspension Limit Strap system and the Frame Gusset Plate. With its direct replacement design, you won't have to worry about flipping shocks, trimming plastics, or making any modifications. The brace is carefully crafted in-house to offer a seamless fit while greatly improving the overall strength of key components.
Crafted from solid Billet 6061 Aluminum bar stock, the shock tower brace undergoes a powder-coating process for a long-lasting and durable finish. The top is adorned with our milled-in logo, revealing the raw aluminum beneath, adding a stylish touch to your vehicle.
The frame gusset plate, included in this kit, is an essential solution for increased rigidity in your X3 frame. By reducing deflection in the front end of your machine, this gusset plate ensures optimal performance during intense use. It effectively prevents undesired movement in the upper shock mount area and lower frame, protecting your vehicle from torsion and expensive radiator fan damage. To maximize its effectiveness, the gusset plate must be used with either our limit strap system or our aluminum shock tower brace. Made from 3/16 mild sheet steel, this gusset plate is tig welded for strength and includes a grommet for hassle-free hose passage.
