CT Race Worx Maverick X3 MOAB Bulkhead
This part came about from one of the sponsored racers, Kyle Chaney that races in TORC series and was the 2017 Season Champion.
A line of parts needed to be developed specifically for his car as the beatings they take are unbelieveable. So CT Race Worx had to develop a part to replace the factory bulkhead, build something stronger, but a bulkhead that wasn't going to weigh much more than stock. What CT Race Worx came up with was the MOAB (mother of all bulkheads) bulkhead. This is built from 3 different pieces of grade 50 steel, CNC formed and then welded together. CT Race Worx bump formed the front edge to mimic the shape of the factory tube while adding double the rigidity and strength that the tube offers. CT Race Worx thought of every way that the force would be transmitted through this and added strength to the areas that needed it, and took material away where CT Race Worx could afford it to additional drop weight. The MOAB has been abused over and over in TORC, is holding strong and still looks great. CT Race Worx spent some time converting it over to a production part that is affordable to everyone, not just factory racers. This bulkhead does have the holes cut in it to allow bolt access when installing the X3 Bombproof Gusset Kit.
CT Race Worx strongly recommend this to the rider that does not need a winch mount and needs to bulk up the front of their machine. Add the Bombproof Gusset Kit and Bombproof Upper Shock Mount for the ultimate strength in the front end of your machine.
