Made from aerospace grade 6061-T6 billet bar stock, this tie rod kit is much stronger than the OEM version, while still being lightweight. It has been carefully designed to clear all components throughout the entire range of motion, ensuring that it will not interfere with suspension and steering components, even at full droop or compression. With this tie rod set, you can ride with confidence knowing that you have a durable and reliable upgrade for your vehicle.
The DRT Tie Rod Kit works in conjunction with the OEM M16 steering rack and replaces the OEM Rod Ends. It features 3-piece PTFE lined 5/8" Chromoly rod ends and a proprietary inner ball joint, providing a sealing mechanism for the OEM bellow and protecting the steering rack from water, dirt, and sand. The kit also includes DRT spec stainless steel misalignment spacers and class 10.9 hardware to ensure optimal performance on the trail.
