DRT Motorsports Polaris XPEDITION Chase Rack / Tire Carrier System (XP Model)
The DRT Motorsports Polaris XPEDITION Chase Rack / Tire Carrier System is a modular bed-mounted cargo and lighting system built for owners running their Xpedition XP as an overland and adventure machine. The kit is offered in three configurations: the full Tire Carrier and Chase Rack combo, the Tire Carrier alone, or the Chase Rack alone, so owners can build the setup that matches how they ride.
Every component is laser cut, formed, and welded from steel, then finished in premium powder coating. The Chase Rack adds anodized aluminum contrast mesh panels that can be color-matched to the rest of the build. The entire system bolts directly to the extruded aluminum bed rails on the Xpedition XP for a clean install that does not interfere with the factory tilt bed function.

Design and Construction
Both the Tire Carrier and the Chase Rack are built from laser cut, formed, and welded steel, then finished in DRT's premium powder coating. The Chase Rack adds clear anodized aluminum mesh inserts that act as a contrast accent and can be customized to match the rig.
The Tire Carrier closes off the lower section of the bed area to create a secure cargo zone, while still leaving enough vertical clearance under the spare tire mount to fit most 12V electric coolers. Multiple attachment points are integrated into the bed risers so owners can mount shovels, axes, fuel cans, traction boards, and other overland gear without adding aftermarket brackets.
The Chase Rack uses a complete bolt-on modular design with multiple light mounting positions built in, allowing lights to face forward, to the side, rearward, or downward over the bed work area depending on need.
Performance and Functionality
The Xpedition was built around overland and adventure use, and this system addresses what most owners run into within the first few trips: nowhere clean to mount a spare, no good way to add chase lighting, and limited tie-down options for gear in the bed. The Tire Carrier solves the spare tire problem while turning the lower bed into usable secure storage. The Chase Rack adds proper light mounting positions for night runs, camp work, and rear-facing chase lighting when running in a group.
For owners who already carry a spare somewhere else but want the lighting and chase rack benefits, ordering the Chase Rack only keeps the bed completely open. Owners who want the spare and storage solution without the rack can take the Tire Carrier only. The full combo covers both.
Installation Details
This is a complete bolt-on installation. Both the Tire Carrier and the Chase Rack mount directly to the extruded aluminum bed rails on the Xpedition XP, so no drilling into the frame or bed is required. The install does not interfere with the factory tilt bed function, which means the bed still tilts normally after the kit is installed.
