Unlike traditional satellite phones, the ICOM SAT100 lets you start talking to anyone in your talk group instantly with just the push of a button. And if you prefer texting, you can easily send messages within the group using the iPhone or Android RS-SAT100 application.
To seamlessly integrate your Icom Sat 100 with your PCI intercom, simply use the included interface cable. The A/B Radio switch allows you to connect your Icom Sat100 and your VHF Two-Way Radio into your intercom, giving you flexibility in choosing which device transmits when you press the PTT.
With the optional AH-40 antenna, you can even use the IC-SAT100 inside vehicles. The Bluetooth capability allows for hands-free operation while driving, and you can easily keep the radio mounted and powered using the Icom BC-247 docking station (sold separately).
The ICOM SAT100 also comes with a range of convenient features. In case of emergencies, the emergency key function allows you to quickly send an emergency call to preprogrammed radios. The AquaQuake™ function ensures that the radio stays dry internally, even in wet conditions, by vibrating and pushing water out of the speaker grill.
