The PCI Race Radios PTT Quick Disconnect Steering Wheel Two Wires is the perfect solution for those who want to have a quick release steering wheel while still having access to their horn and push to talk functions. This assembly is designed with convenience in mind, featuring a high-quality, mil-spec female connection that can be flush mounted in the dash. Its male counterpart connects directly to the buttons on your steering wheel.
Specifically designed to work well with Momo or other steering wheels that already include buttons, this assembly includes all the necessary wires to connect to your horn or siren relay, as well as to the intercom for push to transmit functionality.
It is important to note that power should not be connected to any of these wires, as doing so could potentially damage the intercom system. To connect the button to an accessory like a horn or siren, you will need a relay and basic wiring knowledge to ensure that no power is sent into the system. A helpful wiring diagram is provided to assist with the installation process.
The push to talk (PTT) end of this assembly is designed to work seamlessly with a harness or a Comlink 10 intercom, featuring a male end. If you are using it with a 4 Link Pro or Trax Intercom System, you will need to add on the gender changer to convert it to a female PTT connection.
