The Agency Power Can-Am Maverick X3 Big Brake Kit Front and Rear is a top-of-the-line performance upgrade for your Can-Am Maverick X3. Designed and manufactured in the USA in collaboration with leading brake experts, this kit is specifically tailored for the Maverick X3 to ensure maximum braking performance.
Unlike traditional automotive brake designs, this 4-wheel brake kit is specially engineered to suit the unique characteristics of the Can-Am Maverick X3. The calipers feature a 2-piece construction with built-in "ears" for easy mounting to the wheel carrier, eliminating the need for additional brackets and spacers. The caliper design ensures incredible rigidity, eliminating flex and pad knock back even under hard pedal pressure.
Internally, the caliper features custom machined piston sizing, providing an overall surface area comparable to many 6-piston vehicle brakes. The optimized piston bore for the front and rear calipers allows for perfect squatting under hard braking, providing better vehicle control compared to unbalanced nose dives. The hard anodized aluminum pistons are lightweight and move with ease, enhancing clamping force on the rotor. Additionally, the caliper includes both dust and weather seals, making it resistant to harsh off-road elements.
The brake pads for this kit have been carefully chosen to provide optimal performance and balance. The front caliper uses a Hawk HP+ N-Compound, while the rear caliper uses a DR1-C ceramic brake pad. These pads offer amazing performance without excess squeaking noise, and their common shape allows for easy access to replacement pads.
The 2-piece cast iron vented rotors are another standout feature of this kit.
