Description
The Elka Suspension Polaris 2017 Ranger XP 1000 Shocks (Rear) (Stage 4) offer all the performance of the latest technology in a more accessible package that is simpler to use. Derived directly from the top-end Stage 5 model, these shocks share most of the same components.
Featuring a single external compression adjustment knob, the Stage 4 model controls the low-speed compression damping. It also includes an internal high-speed blow-off circuit, which relieves peak pressure upon impacts to achieve race-level performance. The Stage 4 shocks are designed to be more accessible and easier to adjust.
These shocks provide numerous benefits, including helping to increase and maintain speed over rough terrain and bumps. They reduce excessive weight transfers such as body roll, diving, and squatting. Additionally, they prevent bottoming-out upon harsh square-edged impacts and potholes, while providing increased traction in all conditions for maximum maneuverability.
The Stage 4 shocks also offer various adjustment features, including low-speed compression, rebound damping, and threaded spring preload. These allow for good control of key parameters without excessive complexity.
With high-flow technology, an ultra-lightweight design, and low-friction internals, the Stage 4 shocks are designed for optimal performance. They also feature hard-anodized parts, a triple sealing system, and a proprietary oil blend.

Warranty
All Elka Suspension products are guaranteed against any manufacturing defects for a period of one (1) year from the purchase date.
This warranty does not cover damages resulting from any of the following situations:
Abuse of the product
Crash or accidents while riding
Racing accidents
Improper installation
Improper reservoir hose routing
Disassembly or modifications
Unauthorized oil changes
Damage occuring during transportation (the purchase of full insurance coverage for shipping is recommended)
Conditions
A copy of your original invoice is necessary for any warranty claim.
Because Elka Suspension products are designed for use in racing and extreme riding conditions, Elka Suspension cannot guarantee any of its suspension products, other than from manufacturing defects, because we have no control over how our products are used after installation. In addition, the purchaser assumes full responsibility to the extent legally permitted for the risks of personal injury and/or damage to the purchaser’s vehicle or to any third party that may be involved in an incident with the purchaser.
All Elka Suspension shock absorbers are ready for installation. Our products provide the user with some control over certain aspects of the suspension, therefore they might require some testing and fine-tuning to obtain maximum performance. With adjustability comes responsibility!
