VELOCITY GRID TECHNOLOGY
Featuring our revolutionary patent pending Velocity Grid™, the SS tire is a true game changer for purpose built sand tires. Found on both the front and rear tires, the Velocity Grid™ technology provides added biting edges for superior handling, acceleration, and braking. Combined with the lightweight 2 ply bias construction, it also reduces rotating mass for maximum power delivery.
The front SS “Sand Series” tire weighs just 24.4lbs and is available in a 33×11-15 size. In addition to the revolutionary Velocity Grid™ design, the front SS also features dual apex turning ribs. These provide exceptional steering response, ensuring steering inputs translate to predictable vehicle rotation. The 33” tall diameter provides additional ground clearance for further capability.

About Tensor Tire
When Tensor Tire blasted onto the scene, everyone in the industry knew that a new player was in town. But it wasn’t until the introduction of the 32” tall Desert Series (DS) race tire that hardcore enthusiasts and racers really began to give the brand some serious attention.
In the years following that launch, Tensor has released the
incredibly popular DSR33 and DSR35. The “Desert Series Race” lineup is
the natural evolution of size and design for the ultimate desert race
tire!
FAQ
Where are tensor tires made?
Tensors were developed in the US. After rigorous testing, the Tensor DS is ready in time to take part in Baja 1000.
What are paddle tires used for?
Paddle tires can be used primarily for off road vehicles, specially adapted to sand or dirt. These tires are made of smooth tires and have several large rubber cups attached to the bottom of each.
Are paddle tires necessary?
Paddle tire is worth it. They make driving through the dunes easy allowing quicker travel gain and control over the bigger dune and providing greater grip on the rocky surface. You'll burn less energy and you'll not be trapped so frequently.
Can you use paddle tires on pavement?
Because this product is made to work with soft Sand, I have to wonder how it could be useful in pavement.
How do you read a paddle tire size?
The first number (30) is the total length of the tires in inches. The second number (14) represent the tire diameter in inches of length between two walls in sidewalls. Numbers in Group 14 are wheel width in inches for which rims fit.
