The 2018 Sand Sports Super Show was definitely one for the books. So many amazing UTV builds and new product releases, it was hard to keep track of it all. We appreciate each and every one of you that came to the KC HiLites booth to check out our Geiser Performance Can-Am X3 build that we debuted at the show. We met and talked with so many of you and we really appreciate the support.
This is our Geiser Performance / UTV Source Can-Am X3 build that we debuted at the show in the KC HiLites booth. So many amazing companies came together for this, and we couldn't be happier with the results.
For lighting, we opted to keep it simple yet detailed with displaying a 7-light KC HiLites PRO6 LED light bar up encased in a custom Geiser Performance light rack that they built into the cage. The light bar is set at the perfect height; just high enough to maintain great visibility, and low enough to give it a clean and aggressive look. We also added custom pink/silver KC logos to the PRO6 covers to go with the theme of the build.
On the interior, we helped PRP Seats launch their new GT3 seat in a custom pink and gray color way to fit the theme of our build. These are a redesign of the previous GT/S.E.seats which are some of the most comfortable seats that PRP offers for side by sides. To keep us in the seat we opted for the black PRP 5.3 harnesses which, if you've never tried, are the best harnesses you can get. Tucked in the middle of the seats is a filtered Rugged M3 Air Pumper to ensure we get fresh air to our helmets on long desert runs.
Moving on to the dash, Geiser Performance outfitted it with their billet Grab Handle, Shift Knob, and Shift Gate which makes for a killer combo for any Can-Am X3. We also have the Rugged Radios AlphaBass Intercom System installed for in-car and car-to-car communications. For cruising around in the dunes and hanging out, Rockford Fosgate fitted their Stage 5 audio system, and it sounds killer!
Moving on to suspension, Geiser hooked up their 4130 chromoly, TIG welded, steel Shock Tower Mount for added strength when stressing the front end through whoops, jumps, and hard hits.
On the rear end, we did a Geiser Radius Rod Kit which includes, radius rods, and their link plate, all 4130 chromoly, TIG welded and a TON stronger than the stock radius rods and link plate.
To tie together the billet parts on the interior, they also installed their billet Sway Bar Links. Not only do they look amazing, but they're a lot stronger and give you more adjustability.
To top it off, Geiser installed their Can-Am X3 Cargo Rack which gives us much needed storage space for long desert trips, and weekend dune rides. Evo Powersports also installed their exhaust kit and tuned the car with their Stage 3R kit which brings the power from 172 HP to 200 HP at 17 lbs. of boost.
We had a blast connecting with everyone at the Sand Sports Super Show and loved seeing the reactions to our debut Can-Am X3 build. We hope to see everyone at next year's show!
